Andreea S. Manea is an LL.M graduate in Public International Law from Utrecht University. Between September 2016 and March 2017, Ms. Manea worked within the Office of Legal Affairs at NATO HQ where her work focused, among other aspects, on the efforts of the Organization to set up an Action Plan for the implementation of NATO’s Policy on Protection of Civilians. In addition, Miss Manea has also worked as a Junior Lecturer at Utrecht University, where she held seminars in Public International Law. Her work experience likewise includes The Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office where she worked within the Ombudsperson’s Office and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, where she was part of Trial Chamber I, dealing with the Case of The Prosecutor v. Ratko Mladić. Her research interests include: joint state responsibility and responsibility of international organizations with a particular focus on attribution, International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
